The growing cultural diversity in contemporary classrooms has created new challenges and opportunities for educators. Teachers are expected not only to deliver academic knowledge but also to recognize and respond to students’ diverse cultural identities, experiences, and perspectives. However, bias and stereotypes often influence teaching practices, expectations, and interactions in the classroom. Teacher education programmes therefore play a crucial role in preparing future teachers to address diversity through culturally responsive pedagogy. This study explored the role of technology in promoting cultural responsiveness and reducing bias and stereotypes during teacher training. This study adopted a qualitative design based on secondary data analysis. Scholarly literature, academic books, and research reports were examined to identify patterns in and insights into the integration of technology into culturally responsive teacher education. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data. The findings suggest that digital tools such as learning management systems, online discussion forums, digital storytelling platforms, and collaborative learning technologies can enhance cultural awareness among teacher trainees. These tools encourage reflective practices, intercultural dialogue, and the critical analysis of stereotypes in educational contexts. Technology-supported learning environments also allow teacher trainees to interact from diverse perspectives and to engage in collaborative learning experiences that promote inclusive thinking. The study concluded that integrating technology into teacher education programs can significantly support culturally responsive teaching and help reduce bias and stereotypes among educators.
