On January 10, 2026, a team of experts led by You Zhenyu from the School of Institute for Photonics Technology and Wang Yan from the School of State Key Laboratory of Functional Crystals and Devices published an article in the 发光学报, introducing its research progress in the field of crystal synthesis and energy transfer mechanisms. The team successfully synthesized five kinds of crystals using the Czochralski method and explored the spectral traits and energy transfer mechanisms in these crystals, laying a foundation for the construction of diode-pumped all-solid-state yellow laser systems.
