This paper introduces the concept of Endmachtgefüge, a theoretical construct describing a form of power in which metaphysical narratives, material resource consolidation, and institutional structures converge into a self-reproducing system. Building on the notion of metaphysical fascism, the paper argues that certain ideological systems transform the present world into a transitional stage toward an ultimate horizon, thereby justifying violence, suppressing plurality, and eroding the intrinsic value of human life. The concept of Endmachtgefüge captures the moment when such a metaphysical framework acquires a material metabolism of survival through networks of dependency and organizational entrenchment. The paper analyzes how this structure differs from classical authoritarianism, why it resists collapse, and how it fundamentally undermines the conditions of sustainable development.
