White circularly polarized luminescence (WCPL) materials are highly desirable for advanced optical applications, yet achieving color-stable circularly polarized white LEDs (CP-WLEDs) remains a formidable challenge. Herein, we report a series of chiral hybrid metal halides, R(S)-(MP)2InCl7:xSb3+ (R(S)-MP = (R)-(-)/(S)-(+)-2-methylpiperazine, x = 0-0.4), which demonstrate efficient and tunable circularly polarized luminescence (CPL). Through precise Sb3+ doping, the emission color can be continuously tuned from blue to white and eventually to yellow. Notably, at an optimal doping concentration of 0.5%, the compound exhibits single-component white light emission with CIE coordinates of (0.32, 0.34) and a dissymmetry factor (|glum|) of ∼1. 3 × 10-3. A high doping level of 20% yields bright yellow emission with a near-unity photoluminescence quantum yield and an enhanced |glum| of ∼1.7 × 10-3. The CPL activity originates from the chiral crystal structure induced by hydrogen bonding N-H···Cl between the organic ligands and the asymmetric In(Sb)Cl63- octahedra. Furthermore, a fabricated CP-WLED showcases exceptional operational stability, with negligible shifts in CIE coordinates and correlated color temperature under varying driving currents and operating time. This work provides a novel and robust material platform for developing high-performance, environmentally friendly CP-WLEDs and anticounterfeiting technologies.
