Unlocking Bactericidal Potential of Coenzyme Q 10 through an Optimized Oral Nano-system Formulation Approach: In-Vitro Characterization and Antimicrobial evaluation.

This study shows that a rationally designed proliposomal system markedly improves Coenzyme Q10 dissolution and revives its antimicrobial activity. To our knowledge, this is the first report to provide conclusive evidence of Coenzyme Q10's significantly augmented antibacterial efficacy via nano-encapsulation. The optimized formulation presents a highly promising and translatable strategy for combating infections caused by resistant Gram-negative bacteria, meriting further investigation in clinical settings.
