This project focused on implementing Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) between universities in the Netherlands and Japan. The primary goal was to assist Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with entering the Dutch market. Students from both Japan and the Netherlands took on consultancy roles, conducting comprehensive market research and creating promotional videos to facilitate the entry of traditional Japanese products into the Dutch market. The project aimed to ensure that these businesses could thrive sustainably in the Dutch market by leveraging the collaborative efforts and insights of international student teams. This approach provided students with valuable real-world experience while offering practical solutions to enhance the international presence and growth of Japanese SMEs.
