Abstract Objective This study aimed to translate, culturally adapt, and validate the Walsh Family Resilience Questionnaire (WFRQ) for use among Thai family caregivers. Background Family caregivers in Thailand play a pivotal role in supporting older adults with chronic illness, often under considerable emotional and practical strain. Understanding family resilience is essential for designing culturally responsive interventions. Walsh's family resilience framework offers a strong theoretical foundation; however, no validated Thai‐language instrument has been available. Method A cross‐sectional sample of 224 caregivers completed the Thai WFRQ, along with the Connor–Davidson Resilience Scale–10 (CD‐RISC‐10) and the Zarit Burden Interview (ZBI). Psychometric analyses included confirmatory factor analysis, internal consistency, and tests of convergent, discriminant, and concurrent validity. Results The Thai WFRQ showed excellent reliability and confirmed the original third‐order, three‐domain factor structure. Validity was supported by strong factor loadings and appropriate indicators of construct validity. Concurrent validity was evidenced by positive correlations with resilience and negative correlations with caregiver burden. Conclusion The Thai WFRQ is a reliable and culturally appropriate tool for assessing family resilience among Thai caregivers. Implications This study supports clinical assessment, program development, and research, while contributing to caregiver well‐being in Thailand's aging society and advancing global understanding of resilience in collectivist cultures.
