Abstract This article describes the first known faculty development workshop focused on evidence-based practice (EBP) program evaluation and EBP policy analysis framed by the 2025 adaptation of the Mountain Model. The Mountain Model was introduced in 2024 to guide EBP quality improvement initiatives. Although this framework has guided successful faculty development workshops in the published literature, the new adaptation to inform 2 other types of doctor of nursing practice (DNP) projects, EBP program evaluation and EBP policy analysis, has not been operationalized to date. All 27 workshop participants, including faculty prepared with doctor of philosophy and DNP degrees, reported increased confidence in oversight of these types of DNP projects and recommended this type of innovative faculty development to others.
