ABSTRACT This study examines the thermo‐bioconvective flow in a porous tilted square cavity, partially heated nonuniformly and containing oxytactic microorganisms. The bio‐convection flow in porous material is formulated using the Darcy–Brinkman model with the Boussinesq approximation. For a wide variety of relevant parameters, including bioconvection Rayleigh number , Darcy number , and slanted angle(), partially heated , the numerical results are produced using the finite difference approach using the relaxation technique. Average Nusselt number (), average Sherwood number of oxygen concentration (), and average Sherwood number of microorganisms () are thoroughly analyzed. The oxygen content in the bottom cavity is enhanced by raising the Darcy number (). For a heating area of , the local Nusselt number peaks at the right wall, and for a heating area of , it is lowest. Additionally, it also reveals that relative changes of Nusselt number are being noticed. Moreover, at larger Darcy numbers (), local Sherwood number profiles of oxygen concentration reach their maximum.
