Abstract

Becker’s nevus is an acquired and persistent asymmetrical area of skin pigmentation associated with hypertrichosis. It is five times more common in males. The most common site of involvement is a shoulder or upper trunk; facial involvement is rare. Neurofibromatosis (NF) is associated with various pigmentary disorders, but its association with Becker’s nevus is relatively uncommon. We report such a rare presentation of Becker’s nevus on the face in a young female who also happened to have neurofibromatosis.
