This study analyzes the future evolution of agro- and bioclimatic resources in northwestern Russia against the backdrop of global warming. In order to assess the future evolution of the parameters under study, the current characteristics of thermal resources, precipitation regime, moisture supply resources and agroclimatic potential were preliminarily studied. It substantiates a methodology for selecting an optimal climate model for forecasting air temperature and precipitation for six settlements, which are used to calculate agro- and bioclimatic resources. The historical evolution and dynamics of meteorological and agroclimatic characteristics are determined for three averaging periods within a historical experiment. Future estimates of agro- and bioclimatic resources through the end of the 21st century are provided.
