The NOAA CSL TOPAZ ozone lidar and an autonomous Doppler wind lidar were deployed to the Connecticut shore downwind of New York City in summer 2023 as part of the CUPiDS and AEROMMA air quality field campaigns. We used the lidar observations to characterize the effect of the complex transport and mixing patterns in this area on the vertical structure and temporal evolution of ozone along the northern shore of the Long Island Sound.
