The advancement of web technologies has significantly improved the efficiency of educational assessment systems. This research presents the design and development of a Web-Based Online Examination System developed using Java Server Pages (JSP) and Java technologies. The system allows administrators or faculty members to create and manage question banks for various technologies such as Java, Android, and Web Development. Students can register on the platform, select their preferred technology domain, and attempt objective-type online tests through a web interface. The system automatically evaluates the submitted answers and instantly generates the results after the completion of the test. The application uses JSP for dynamic web page generation, Java for application logic, and a database system for storing user details, questions, answers, and results. The automated evaluation process reduces the time and effort required for manual paper checking and improves the efficiency of conducting examinations. Additionally, the system enables instructors to monitor student performance and provides quick feedback to students regarding their test results. This online examination platform is beneficial for educational institutions as it supports efficient test management, enhances learning assessment, and promotes digital evaluation methods. However, the initial setup of question banks and system configuration may require additional preparation time.
