The article presents a methodological approach to selecting an effective communication structure in portable monitoring systems based on the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology. Three BLE topologies (1 : 1, 1 : ∞, Mesh) are compared in terms of key parameters: throughput, latency, energy efficiency, scalability, and configuration complexity. The results of analytical and experimental testing confirm the applicability of BLE for the organization of energy-efficient diagnostics and telemetry channels in portable industrial systems of monitoring and control.
