Standardized residency training (SRT) is a core component of postgraduate medical education, and its quality is closely linked to residents' clinical performance. Currently, research on residents' post competency in China is limited, with a lack of comprehensive evaluation standards. To establish a competency-based evaluation index system for SRT and verify its effectiveness in predicting training outcomes. This study integrated literature analysis, expert survey, and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to construct the evaluation index system. AHP was used for weight assignment, with MATLAB software calculating indicator weights. Questionnaire surveys were conducted among residents from four departments for empirical validation, and t-test (SPSS 23.0) was used for statistical analysis. The index system included 5 first-level and 24 second-level indicators. The consistency ratio of AHP was 0.0201 (0.05), and expert satisfaction was above 9.0. The constructed index system is scientific and practical, effectively predicting SRT outcomes, and can provide a basis for optimizing residency training models.
