The main purpose of this work is to extract the value of the asymptotic normalization coefficient for 15 N→ 14 N+n configuration. For this purpose, the analysis of the differential cross section of the 14 N(d,p) 15 N reaction leading to the ground state of 15 N was carried out within the framework of the modified distorted wave Born approximation. The peripheral character of the considered reaction was checked. The results demonstrate that the 14 N(d,p) 15 N reaction is peripheral. The value of the squared asymptotic normalization coefficient for the 15 N→ 14 N+n vertex with its uncertainty was extracted.
