Case: This report describes a now 29-year-old woman who at age 16 sustained an accidental gunshot wound involving a handgun (caliber unknown) to the right knee resulting in a 3.0 × 2.6 cm defect of the lateral femoral condyle. She underwent fixation using an osteochondral allograft (OCA) with continued graft viability and preserved range of motion at 12 years following surgery. Conclusion: This is a unique case of a large, traumatic lateral femoral condyle defect repaired with OCA in an adolescent who demonstrated functionality and viability over 12-year follow up.
