Abstract : Education is a continuous lifelong, purposeful process. It is called the laboratory of life because humans develop everything, but education develops humanity. Education plays a crucial role in human development and maintaining the quality of human life because quality education gives a person a specific direction. Therefore, all thinkers have been concerned with and related to education. Paulo Freire is one such eminent thinker of the global world. Although a systematic and organized presentation of his educational ideas (concept of education, objectives of education, teaching methods, curriculum, concept of school, discipline) is not available, after reviewing the source literature (primary and secondary) of Freire's ideas, the present research paper attempts to shed broad light on Freire's educational thinking.
