Cesium (Cs)-rich hybrid perovskites, which combine inorganic Cs with organic cations such as formamidinium (FA + ), dimethylammonium (DMA + ), and methylammonium (MA + ), show good light stability compared to organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites, representing a potential solution to the challenges of low-temperature fabrication and phase degradation of inorganic perovskites. This has led to a large potential for Cs-rich perovskites to be employed in multiple junction photovoltaics, which have emerged as one of the most promising technologies to overcome the efficiency limits of single-junction photovoltaics by combining absorbers with complementary bandgaps. However, research on Cs-rich perovskites is still in its infancy and there are few reports on multiple junctions based on Cs-rich perovskites. From this perspective, we review the potential applications of Cs-rich perovskites in multiple junctions, discuss critical strategies to overcome the existing challenges based on current progress, and provide further viewpoints on their future development. • Cs-rich hybrid perovskites are potential light-absorbing materials for multiple junction solar cells. • Providing a perspective of multiple-junction configurations based on Cs-rich perovskites. • Offering solving strategies for achieving the perspective.
