This study examines the quality of work life (QWL) among online food delivery employees in Palakkad district, with a focus on its impact on job satisfaction and the influence of occupational stress. The study adopts a descriptive and analytical research design and is based on primary data collected from 100 respondents, including employees from Zomato and Swiggy, selected using the snowball sampling method. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using statistical tools such as mean, standard deviation, correlation, regression, and ANOVA. The findings reveal a significant positive relationship between QWL and job satisfaction, while occupational stress has a negative impact on employees’ well-being. Although employees reported satisfaction with autonomy and work environment, concerns remain regarding income stability, career growth, and organizational support. The study concludes that improving QWL and reducing stress are essential for enhancing job satisfaction and overall well-being in the gig economy.
