Abstract：Against the backdrop of an increasingly diversified academic dissemination system, open scholarly infrastructure is emerging as an important complement to traditional commercial databases. Journal of Vocational Education (ISSN 3080-8049, eISSN 3080-8057, CODEN: ZDABBU, DOI prefix: https://doi.org/10.66106/zdabbu) has recently been indexed by OpenAlex. Developed and operated by the non-profit organization OurResearch, OpenAlex is an open scholarly literature database officially launched in 2022, indexing over 250 million scholarly works globally, with data publicly released under a CC0 license and free access for users. Being indexed by OpenAlex means the journal's research outputs have entered this open scholarly infrastructure network. From the perspective of open infrastructure, this article introduces the platform positioning and features of OpenAlex, and presents the basic facts of the journal's indexing.
