Abstract:Against the backdrop of industry-education integration becoming a national strategy, how professional academic journals can construct an open, collaborative, and forward-looking academic communication system has become a significant issue in the field of vocational education research. The Journal of Vocational Education, a gold open access (Gold OA) bilingual academic journal focusing on vocational education and human resource development, is guided by the core concept of serving as an “academic hub and innovative practice platform for industry-education integration research”, highlighting three distinctive features: practice orientation, industry-education integration, and policy foresight. Adopting the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), the journal ensures permanent free access to full texts and has been indexed by more than 50 authoritative academic databases and indexing platforms worldwide, including CrossRef, Google Scholar, ResearchGate, ICI Copernicus, EuroPub, and RCCSE. This paper systematically elaborates on the journal’s core positioning, academic features, publishing model, submission specifications, and global database coverage. It aims to provide clear submission guidelines for domestic and international vocational education researchers, institutional administrators, corporate trainers, and policymakers, thereby facilitating the international dissemination of research outcomes in vocational education and fostering collaborative development within the global academic community.
