Hydrogen interstitials (H i ) migrate from perovskite bulk to surfaces, forming deep traps that lower capture barriers and increase capture coefficients from 10 −8 to 10 −7 cm 3 s −1 , revealing surface H i as a dominant nonradiative loss pathway.
