This report consists of deliverable D1.2 of the FutuRaM project, aiming to deliver a proposal for secondary raw materials statistics to the European Commission. FutuRaM methods offer guidance for national statistical offices, highlighting promising approaches for WEEE, battery, and wind turbine waste, and identifying limitations in other streams. Recommendations are provided to adapt PRODCOM and EU List of Waste codes to improve secondary material data capture, facilitating compliance with Article 26 of the CRM-Act. Draft methodological guidelines for EU battery waste statistics, including the BATT-KEYs classification, are proposed to enable standardized and internationally comparable data collection.
