En bloc discectomy provides a safe and reproducible alternative to conventional (standard piecemeal discectomy) disc excision. By reducing endplate damage and implant subsidence, this technique has the potential to improve long-term stability and clinical outcomes in patients undergoing lumbar interbody procedures.
