The increasing demand for environmentally friendly and energy-efficient agriculturalequipment has encouraged the development of renewable energy–based automated systems.This project presents the design and implementation of a Solar Powered Smart Grass CutterRover integrated with a water sprinkler mechanism for effective lawn and field maintenance.The system utilizes a photovoltaic solar panel to charge a 12V rechargeable battery, whichsupplies power to DC motors for movement, blade rotation, and water pumping. An Arduinomicrocontroller acts as the central control unit, while a Bluetooth module enables smartphonebased remote operation. An LCD display provides real-time information regarding batterystatus and system operation. A motor driver unit ensures smooth and precise control of themotors, and an external adapter is provided for backup charging. The adjustable cuttingmechanism offers uniform grass trimming, while the sprinkler system supports efficientirrigation and dust control. The compact and portable design makes the rover suitable forgardens, lawns, and small agricultural fields, especially in rural and off-grid regions.Experimental results indicate reliable performance, low noise, reduced human effort, andminimal environmental impact. Overall, the proposed system offers a cost-effective,sustainable, and user-friendly solution for modern lawn and agricultural maintenance.
