This paper presents an exploratory case study on Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), a framework for improving visibility in AI-powered search systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Meta AI. The study documents a zero-budget intervention applied by an Indian student founder operating under a common personal name, addressing challenges of entity disambiguation and AI retrieval accuracy. Over a seven-month period, structured SEO-compatible and GEO-oriented interventions were implemented, including cross-platform identity alignment and institutional authority signals. Results, supported by fourteen screenshots, indicate consistent entity recognition across multiple AI platforms and search systems. A three-stage SEO-GEO Integration Model is proposed, contributing to emerging research at the intersection of information retrieval, AI search visibility, and digital identity in resource-constrained environments. Findings are exploratory and intended to support future multi-case validation.
