This chapter synthesises findings from 13 chapters on how artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies are transforming property valuation practice, education and governance. Drawing on frameworks such as augmented professionalism, socio-technical systems and algorithmic accountability, it explores how valuers must develop hybrid skills, uphold ethical judgement and engage with new tools like Gen AI, drones and LiDAR. While these technologies enhance efficiency and insight, successful integration relies on regulation, data quality and institutional readiness. The chapter demonstrates how professional communities can evolve without losing authority, and it calls for inclusive, well-managed adoption strategies with broader relevance to other knowledge-based professions, including law, education and engineering.
