In today’s market, consumer preferences have become increasingly diversified, and companies are required to provide products that meet individual needs. As a result, online product reviews have become an important source of information for understanding consumer perceptions. In this study, we applied the “DR Group Structure Visualization System,” a decision rule visualization method developed in our previous research based on rough set theory and formal concept analysis, to analyze product evaluations by incorporating text mining techniques and UX (user experience) perspectives. Specifically, we visualized the DR group structures for each phase of the Time Spans of UX based on product reviews of mirrorless cameras from major manufacturers (Canon, Nikon, and Sony). As a result, through comparative analysis among the three companies, we revealed the distinctive UX characteristics that influence product evaluations for each manufacturer.
