Targeted Alpha Therapy Intercalation and binding of astatine-211 between the layers of alkaline-substituted alpha-zirconium phosphate nanoplatelets. Labelling these zirconium phosphate nanoplatelets with the alpha-emitting isotope astatine-211 is the first step towards providing a viable targeted alpha therapy (TAT) radiopharmaceutical. This platform also shields the emission of alpha radiation, limiting damage to healthy tissue during administration. More in article number e202500640, Jonathan D. Burns and co-workers.
