This study examines early‑season pollinator visitation to Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna) within a narrow spring temperature range at Castle Hill Local Nature Reserve, East Sussex. Over ten consecutive days in April–May 2022, twenty 10‑minute observation periods recorded 415 pollinator visits across Hymenoptera, Diptera, Lepidoptera and unidentified taxa. Ambient temperatures ranged from 9–14 °C. A Mann–Whitney U test detected no significant difference in visitation rates between predefined cool (8–12 °C) and warm (13–17 °C) temperature categories, although descriptive trends showed a gradual increase in visitation with rising temperature. The dataset provides a fine‑scale record of early‑spring pollinator behaviour and contributes baseline information for future phenological and climate‑response studies.
