The purpose of the study is to develop and experimentally substantiate a methodology for the use of ideomotor training to enhance the level of operational-tactical thinking and psychological readiness of mixed martial arts (MMA) athletes. Research methods and organization. Methods of analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical experiment, and methods of mathematical statistics were used. The developed methodology was tested on athletes aged 18-20 years who hold the qualifications of "1st category" and "Candidate for Master of Sport" in the sport of mixed martial arts (MMA). Research results and conclusions. A high effectiveness of ideomotor training has been identified for improving cognitive control, information processing speed, and attentional stability in mixed martial arts athletes, which directly affects their competitive reliability. It has been experimentally proven that an 8-week course of ideomotor training leads to a statistically significant improvement in key psychophysiological indicators.
