Murine Norovirus (MNV) was first identified in 2003 and has since emerged as one of the most prevalent viruses affecting laboratory mice, posingsignificant potential impacts on the quality of laboratory mice and experimentalresults. This review aims to summarize the pathogenic characteristics, epidemiol-ogical distribution, pathogenic effects, and diagnostic methods of MNV, thereby providing a theoretical framework for the prevention and control of infections in laboratory mice.
