ABSTRACT This study examines how Tanzania incorporates health into its nationally determined contributions (NDCs), and the enablers required to enhance climate–health resilience. It assesses gaps across health and health systems (HHS), water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and disaster risk reduction (DRR), using a mixed method approach. The study identifies weaknesses in governance, financing, workforce capacity, and data systems. Benchmarking highlights countries that embed health indicators and anticipatory systems. Tanzania can advance by improving coordination, mobilizing finance, and strengthening data ecosystems.
