The skin aging process is multifactorial, which creates prerequisites to searching for combined methods of correcting age-related changes. Data of study on the efficacy and safety of using dermal implants on the basis of hyaluronic acid and sorbitol in mono- or combination therapy with low-temperature plasma exposure for correcting age-related changes of the skin of the periorbital region and neck are presented. Volunteers (n=45) were divided into 3 groups. Group 1 patients underwent 2 injections of semi-cross-linked hyaluronic acid and sorbitol, group 2 — 3 procedures of treatment with «cold» plasma, group 3 — a combined protocol of 2 injections of hyaluronic acid and 3 «cold» plasma procedures. The assessment was carried out by means of photo documentation and mDLQI and GAIS questionnaires. Subjects in all groups demonstrated improvement in quality of life indicators according to the mDLQI, high degree of satisfaction with the aesthetic results according to the GAIS and statistically significant reduction in wrinkle depth, but the best results were found in groups 1 and 3. Thus, this study demonstrates the efficacy and safety of using semi-cross-linked hyaluronic acid and low-temperature plasma for correction of wrinkles of the periorbital region in both mono- and combination therapies.
