The applicability of the history topics in the German Sachunterricht course and the class council method in Türkiye was examined according to the views of teachers and students. In this respect, the aim of the study is to examine the applicability of the class council method used in the German Sachunterricht course and the history topics in the Turkish Life Studies course according to the views of teachers and students. Case study design, one of the qualitative research designs, was used in the study. The study group of the research consisted of 4 primary school teachers teaching in the 2024-2025 academic year and 35 students attending the third grade of primary school. All of these students attended classes that included history-related activities, and seven students were selected for interviews. Data were collected through document analysis and interview techniques. Descriptive analysis and content analysis were used to analyze the data. In this study, it was determined that the inclusion of history topics and the application of the class council method, as in Germany, were positively received and contributed to the lesson process. As a result of the interviews, it was concluded that these activities applied in Germany can also be applied in the Life Studies course.
