Abstract The Coupling, Energetics, and Dynamics of Atmospheric Regions (CEDAR) workshop is funded by the US National Science Foundation and held annually in the US to serve terrestrial aeronomy researchers. The CEDAR community consists of engineers, scientists, and externally funded professionals ranging from students to emeritus in their career stage whose interests focus on understanding the fundamental properties and predictability of the near‐Earth space environment, including the mesosphere, thermosphere, ionosphere, and its coupling to and interactions with the magnetosphere. In 2021, the CEDAR Science Steering Committee (CSSC) began collecting demographic information about the CEDAR workshop attendees in response to grassroots efforts to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion within the CEDAR community. In 2024, the CSSC adopted bylaws that required providing demographic reports to the CEDAR community every 2 years. This report provides a summary of the anonymized CEDAR workshop demographics from 2023 to 2024, and includes the previously reported years starting in 2021 to assist in the identification and analysis of any trends. Although this data set is still short, we find the attendance of different demographic groups to be stable over the 4 year period across career stage, gender identity, and race or ethnicity.
