abstract: This work provides an edition and translation of a short text found in the fifteenth-century composite manuscript British Library MS Egerton 92 on f. 29va32– vb2. The text appears to be unique to the manuscript. This Middle Irish tale is about a prophet who provides instructions via a fairy to his human foster-mother regarding how she can achieve Heaven by doing good deeds.
