Abstract

A bio-derived europium-tannic acid complex (Eu@TA) was synthesized via a facile aqueous coordination strategy, leveraging the polyphenolic structure of tannic acid as a multidentate ligand and europium ions (Eu 3+ ) as the coordination center.
