The main objective of the research is to investigate the mediating role of the green supply chain management (GSCM) in the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR), environmental, and economic performance in Iranian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This research is one of the quantitative and hypothesis-based studies that is considered an applied study in terms of its purpose. In this study, the relationship between variables and hypotheses was examined using the structural equation modeling method. The software output shows that corporate social responsibility has a positive effect on green supply chain management. Also, green supply chain management has a direct effect on environmental and economic performance. Finally, it was found that the mediating role of green supply chain management in the relationship between corporate social responsibility, economic, and environmental performance is significant. The results showed that the green supply chain management factor is a strong driver for improving the performance of SMEs and leads to social responsibility having the highest positive impact on these companies in this way. Finally, the contribution of this study is to provide a new conceptual model related to the research topic. It is worth noting that the mediating role of GSCM in the relationship between independent and dependent variables has been ignored in previous studies, and this study has attempted to fill this gap.
