Abstract

Background: Buttonweed (genera Borreria and Mitracarpus) is an emerging, difficult to control weed increasingly prevalent in agricultural areas of Brazil, particularly in the Cerrado biome. Objective: Identify four buttonweed accessions, common in agricultural areas of the Brazilian Cerrado, in addition to separate and group the species based on molecular analysis.
