ABSTRACT Bicomponent printing with biodegradable materials represents a promising approach for developing sustainable structures. UltraFuse PLA Blue and PLA/PHA Shining Silver were used to print samples with different interfaces: “T”, “2T”, “dovetail”, and “double dovetail”. Tensile testing combined with fracture imaging and surface topography analysis demonstrated that mechanical performance is affected by both interface geometry and processing parameters (layer thickness, shell number). Thus, optimizing processing parameters and interface geometry simultaneously may strengthen biodegradable bicomponent MEX‐printed structures.
