The research discusses the phenomenon of politicization in unstable societies, which witness cases of politicization of issues and topics that are by nature non-political, so that most of the issues of society, if not all of them, become related in one way or another to the intentions and goals of the ruling political elites, who practice the process of politicization, which results in structural and functional imbalances among diverse social groups, leading to the phenomenon of societal instability and may expose the unity and security of society to continuous threats. This problem is suffered by Lebanese society, whose social structure has been extended by those distinctions imposed by considerations of quotas in the Lebanese political system, so that Lebanese society becomes inclusive of social circles that are almost closed to the sect, and the severity of this closure increases, under the pressure of politicization, with the emergence of crises that the Lebanese political system is exposed to in general.
