Recent academic interest has grown in understanding how non-material aspects of work, such as meaning, purpose, and inner fulfilment, contribute to employee well-being and organisational success, leading to the emergence of the concept of workplace spirituality (WPS). Organisational culture is identified as a vital antecedent of WPS, shaping the environment that supports or constrains spiritual expression. Drawing on the person-organisation (P-O) fit theory, this study examines the impact of organisational culture traits on WPS. Using a quantitative research design, data were gathered from 471 employees of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Uttarakhand, India, through multi-stage random sampling and analysed using Smart PLS software. The findings reveal that the 'mission' trait has the strongest positive impact on WPS, whereas 'involvement' shows no significant impact. The study suggests that fostering mission, consistency, and adaptability enhances workplace spirituality, thus leading to sustainable organisational performance.
