ABSTRACT We report a hierarchical chiral self‐plied carbon nanotube yarn torsional sensor featuring a torque‐balanced rocking design that enables stable, self‐standing operation without external constraints. The hierarchical chiral structure establishes a torque‐balanced state through the interplay between filament torque and interply counter‐torque, ensuring mechanical stability and self‐recovery. As a result, the sensor exhibits five key capabilities: (1) torsional stability in a free‐standing configuration, (2) self‐recovery after deformation, (3) direction‐selective sensing, (4) low‐frequency motion detection, and (5) a wide sensing range. This self‐powered sensor provides a promising platform for real‐time motion monitoring in wearable healthcare, soft robotics, and human–machine interfaces.
