This poster presents Clean Language as a communication approach that helps people feel heard and supports clearer, more patient-led conversations in healthcare. Using diabetes-related examples and findings from Dorman & Rees, BMJ Open Quality (2024), the poster illustrates how Clean Language can support engagement, trust, emotional safety, and insight into what matters to patients. It was presented at the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists 2025 Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona, August 8–11, 2025.
