The findings demonstrated that there was an AM fungal connection between the roots and spore population in the rhizosphere soil of Cash crop plants in each of the several sites. However, maximum percent root colonization of AM fungi was observed in Osmanabad sites Sugarcane plants (70 %) followed by others, while minimum in Hingoli sites Banana plants (32 %). Latur sites Sugarcane 247 (per 100 gm) showed more spore density whereas less in Hingoli sites Sugarcane 49. Total Six genera of AMF was identified up to species level in which Glomus spp were found dominant followed by, Acaulospora spp, Gigaspora spp, Sclerocystis spp, Scutellospora spp and Entrophosphora spp were found poorely distributed.
