Abstract In the present paper, we propose a new notion, namely, the interpolative contractions in the context of the perturbed metric spaces. For these mappings, we give a fixed-point result and provide an example to support the advances brought by the new results. Moreover, we give extend our results and provide a Meir-Keeler type fixed-point result in perturbed metric spaces.
