This report reflects the work conducted within the task 3.3 of FIRE-RES project. It aimed at analysing (i) how current economic incentives work in rewarding for ecosystem services benefits and spatial coordination of fire-resilient preparedness and restoration, (ii) the design and test an agglomeration bonus as an innovative subsidy scheme to achieve spatial coordination, (iii) the analysis of land consolidation measures, and (iv) the concepts of economic resilience to wildfires. (i) and (ii) were conducted for the Living Lab Catalonia, through (i) economic instrument design analysis, complemented with 12 in-depth interviews to participating forest owners, (ii) a behavioural experiment to 147 participants on an agglomeration bonus, (iii) and (iv) conceptual development based on literature review.
