The European Union is a large producer of beet sugar, producing about 50% of the total amount worldwide, sugar beet being also used for ethanol fuel and biogas production. An experiment was conducted to the NIRDPSB Brasov between 2023- 2024 to provide an integrated control strategy in actual climatic conditions. Frequency, intensity and degree of attack produced by some pests and diseases were analyzed. The alternation of pesticides and a strict application reduce the initial inoculum and delay the emergence of resistant insects and pathogen. This percentage of different diseases intensity ranged from 1.72% and 6.2% and the percentage of pest degree of attack raged from 1.4% and 16%. The changes in diseases and pest dynamics caused by climate change emphasize the need for different control methods to ensure the resilience and viability of sugar beet crop. The aim of the experiment was to analyses factors like climate conditions, presence and impact of diseases and pests on order to create a technology adequate to the various biotic and abiotic factors that are constantly changing.
